2SellEquipment.com is a classified ad site where farmers and businesses can advertise large equipment for sale. Like classified ads in a newspaper, these ads are displayed by category: Construction Equipment, Farm Equipment, Tractors, Trailers, Specialty Equipment, etc. Categories are easily customizable by 2SellEquipment.com staff through a control panel.

Our Role

DakotaQ Internet Services provided the database and web programming behind the 2SellEquipment.com classified ad engine. We also programmed the control panel that allows 2SellEquipment.com staff to update categories and edit listings. DakotaQ provides web and database hosting for the site.

2SellEquipment.com need no web programming experience to update categories and sub-categories.

Editing and publishing listings are very easy.

Listings feature expandable photos, detailed descriptions and comments on the condition of the equipment.

Their Problem

2SellEquipment.com is a subsidiary of Lease One, a company specializing in financing business and farm equipment purchases. They wanted to draw more equipment buyers to their site by offering a classified ad service where sellers of used equipment could advertise.

Our Solution

The 2SellEquipment.com website features a classified ad solution where potential buyers can browse a different page for each category of equipment. Each category page is dynamically generated so 2SellEquipment.com staff need no technical training.

Sellers submit their listing through a form on the site. They can include a description of the equipment, a condition rating and upload three photos showing their product. 2SellEquipment.com staff then review the listing for publication and assign it a category. Once they approve publication by checking a box, the listing automatically shows up on the site in the selected category. 2SellEquipment.com staff also have the capability of easily adding categories and sub-categories through a control panel.
